Tribr

Tribr is a fitness and social-challenge app that helps users track, monitor, and improve their physical activity through step- and distance-based fitness challenges, with progress analyzed against real-world activity. The app also runs an incentivized coin-reward program: users pay a coin entry fee into a challenge, and coin prize pools are distributed to top performers based on verified physical activity, encouraging and rewarding healthy habits.

Health Connect Steps and Distance permissions are used exclusively to:

1. Track and monitor a user's progress toward their active fitness challenge goal. 2. Verify real-world activity to determine ranked payout of the coin prize pool, replacing self-reported/manual entry.

This data also powers a read-only daily activity summary (today's steps/distance) shown to the user. Data is read-only, used only for the purposes above, stored on-device, and is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, credit, or employment decisions.
